The M870 series trailers are a highly mobile tactical semitrailer used to transport tracked and wheeled construction, engineering and material handling equipment, weighing up to 50-tons on line-haul missions over primary and secondary roads and trails. These trailers are compatible with the Army M916 series, and USMC M916 LET, MK16LVSR MKR16 prime movers. The M870 series trailers are Air Transportable, Rail Transportable, Ro-Ro capable with top lift and tie down eyes. Standard equipment include D-rings, tool box, BII, outriggers, Apitong Wood decks, removable center boards for use on outriggers, brake interlock, ABS, 24 volt LED lighting, black out lights and spare tire.
